On my way home, there are two roads I can take.
It doesn’t matter which way I go – I’ll get where I want to be. The only thing different is the scenery.
In my humble opinion, it sums up life.
We struggle with life choices, sometimes to the point it stops us in our tracks. But at the end of the day? We’ll get where we need to be.
Stay at the job, or move on? Buy the house, or keep looking?
And if you’re a person, I bet you’ve gone down the road of what if? What if the job isn’t right, the house ain’t as grand as we hoped? What if…
I believe you have to trust God in all details of your life.
Let’s go back to my two roads. Two choices. I could sit in my car and not decide. But I’d never get home. (And I’d starve to death!) Make a choice. Take a step, and enjoy the scenery.
It’s like my log cabin block. Which way should I rotate the block when I’m sewing? Clockwise or Counter Clockwise.
And you know what? It doesn’t matter. With only a difference in the direction of a seam (hardly noticeable), The block will work in your quilt design either way.
Just choose a direction, stick with it, and your quilt will be beautiful.
Registration is now open for the Seeds of Love 2023 Quilter’s Devotional Journey.
The point is.
Make a choice, take a step, and trust God to get you where you need to go.
Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey
