Look Up

Look up be optimistic

My first encounter with a Giraffe was at the Bronx zoo. I was around 5 or 6 years old. I remember looking up…way up to see it.

Thinking about Giraffes – got me thinking about life.

You can either look up and be optimistic about life. Or you look down and be a pessimist.

Each day, to me, is a little miracle – a day to build on, learn from, and have coffee and bacon. Or make a quilt!

If you keep your eyes open and stay optimistic (look up) you will see God’s presence everywhere.

Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the hills...where does my help come from?

It’s breathtaking. It’s Spirit lifting. And life-giving.

Registration is now open for the Seeds of Love 2023 Quilter’s Devotional Journey.

Every day is a gift from God, and we are here today for a reason.

How we show up is up to us.

The optimist or the pessimist?

This is the day the Lord made…He created this day for you and me.

Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey

  1. I have learned in the past couple of years that our purpose on earth is to prepare to live with Jesus in heaven one day. The older I get, the more I rely on God daily. Great job Adele! Donna Belle
