It’s time to do the work

IT's time to do the work gathering supplies

This project won’t happen by sitting back and talking about it.

That came to an end this week. Because, I felt God – not gently nudging, but pushing me to get this done.

Just finding us? Why not join the Scrappy Mystery Quilt Adventure today? You’ll receive your getting started guide, followed by block one on the first day. The remaining blocks and assembly directions will follow a few days apart. It’s 100% Free.

So? I took a leap of faith.

And bought all the fabric I needed online.   That takes a little bit of faith!

The Snags of Buying Online

  1.  There are so many choices you could spend entire days and weeks browsing. (Didn’t do that! )
  2. A LOT of places only do 1-yard cuts. Connecting threads lets you buy 1/2 yd cuts and up.
  3. And then there are the questions that linger in your mind. Will the red be brighter or darker? The print? Larger? Smaller? Etc … (Only time will tell!)

We’ll see if my instincts are on target or a little off in a couple of weeks.

Yup, I’ve been dragging my feet on this project for much too long. The hard work of gathering supplies is done. And that’s one less thing on my to-do list! Done! YAY!

Now we wait with anticipation for the fabrics to arrive.

It’s a time for some patience, 2 weeks can feel like an eternity.

Until then, I’ll be creating the online materials for the Seeds of Love Quilters Devotional Journey.

Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey

  1. Hey Adele, Donna Belle from the Quiltsy team here. I signed up for the scrappy mystery once I saw that it starts in January. It has been a long time since I worked on something with a group. My shop has kept me tooooooo busy for the past 10 years (next month). I’m looking forward to it!
