Have you ever been so close to something that seeing it clearly isn’t possible?
I thought my quilt was going together just the way it was supposed to. That’s what I believed, so that’s just what I saw!
The first third of my scrap jar quilt hung over a door across from my bedroom. When I woke up in the morning, it was the first thing I saw.
One morning, I was admiring my quilt, planning my next steps when I saw it!
A glaring mistake!

I hoped I was imagining those two diamond blocks side by side. But after closer inspection, I could see that wasn’t the case. In fact, it was the WHOLE row! (Fortunately, I’m handy with a seam ripper1) 🙂
It makes me wonder how many of God’s miracles we miss because we’re so caught up in what we think we see or think we know!
Open my eyes to see wonderful things in your Word.
Psalm 119:18
Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey
