Too much on Your Plate?

Trust God with your plans

I have too much on my plate. That’s my complaint.

So, what am I going to do about it?

I’ve tried making lists and prioritizing.

But darn, everything seems so important, doesn’t it?

  • If I want to write – I need to put words on a piece of paper (or computer screen).
  • If I want to play that Chopin Nocturne beautifully – I NEED to practice.
  • Marketing needs doing, and quilts need making, that is, if I want my shop to be on the map.
  • If I want to earn money now – I need a steady income, now not someday in the future.

I can’t help but compare my life to the flower gardens I planted this spring.
Life got busy. The summer sun hot. And the weeds grew.
The flowers are doing surprisingly well, but the weeds that crept in? They add mess and clutter.

Just finding us? Why not join the Scrappy Mystery Quilt Adventure today? You’ll receive your getting started guide, followed by block one on the first day. The remaining blocks and assembly directions will follow a few days apart. It’s 100% Free.

That’s my life.

A mess of clutter – Chopin, Quilts, Words, ideas, and all life.

I have no answers to my dilemma. Not a drip of advice to give to my creative friends out there.

Except this, release it all to God and pray on it.

I trust that the Lord will guide me – every day.

Oh, I get overwhelmed with it all, still have those moments of looking for an easier way…

But there isn’t an easier way.

We can give Jesus every step of our day and be confident that he is walking beside us in love and faithfulness.

Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey
