When stuff isn’t going right, your plans aren’t working. It’s easy to keep pushing forward. Convincing yourself that God will make it work.
I’ve been there.
I did it for 6 years with my Etsy Shop.
I saw others selling their gorgeous handmade items. So I knew it was possible to see quilts. I wanted that, I craved it, and I worked hard to achieve that success.
Although I had a few high points with my shop, my passion for quilting and hard work, wasn’t followed by extreme success.
I struggled and cried. That was followed by frustration.
My Shop Brought Me Closer to God
Not through a success but through the struggle.
If iI achieved the success I craved, I don’t believe I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing now.
God gives you free will, but if what you want to do is going to lead you away from him? He isn’t going to help you out in the process.
He’ll keep calling you back. It might be through frustration. Or that nagging feeling that you need to make a change.

God Used My Etsy Shop For His Purpose…
It’s important to realize, He isn’t going to make it all work out if it’s going to lead you away from Him.
God didn’t give me the Etsy Success that I wanted.
That success would have led me away, not to Him.
God used my Etsy shop for His purpose.
It led me back Him. And I learned a lot of stuff on the way.
You might be wondering what I’d do differently. You might even wonder if I’m sorry I opened up shop on Etsy.
Even with all the tears and frustration, I’m happy that I walked down that path. Not only did I learn a lot of stuff along the way. I met amazing quilters and customers. The only thing I would do differently? I would put it all in God’s hands.
Until next time, enjoy your day and the journey
